Regardless of celebration model they employ, it is important that we celebrate it with joy, thanks giving and genuine tribute to the goodness of our mothers by responding to the commandment of God in Deuteronomy 5 :16 " Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you." Mothers day celebration is a celebration of long life as God has promised in the Bible.
