Searching EduPhil.org
There are two ways of searching EduPhil.org: via the builtin search function of the forum, and via a custom Google search.

Google handles the value of our pages better, because it has access to other people's links to our pages, which is the way it determines the value of the page. Thus, if you are looking for something which is important and yet not readily available via the default site search, use Google search.

On the other hand, Google visits the site only now and then, and therefore it could not detect right away changes in our pages (i.e., new pages, edits, etc). This is when the default site search can be useful.

RE: Searching EduPhil.org
Yes, the EduPhil.org Google CSE searches only pages from http://eduphil.org/*

The ad at the footer is the same ad which appears in all pages, while the ads in the search results themselves are from Google.
