RE: REGULAR ITEM for CONTRACTUAL TEACHER
All contractual teacher are under the MOA. No one under the NON-MOA.... And the REGULAR or PERMANENT ITEM is from the Plantilla of the DEPED.
Actually that is the one idea i want to do... To write on my mayor and tell all of this.. And even write the DepEd regarding this also.

Thank you very much for your support. Atleast there bis someone like you who help teacher even-though they are suffering in the "SYSTEM" they called in...

Forget writing DepEd about it. You'll just earn enemies in the right places to stop your progress Smile

Go to your mayor, tell him your predicament. 2013 is fast approaching, and I'm sure your parents/siblings/spouse are voters. Smile

(06-10-2011 03:53 AM)royo_mark Wrote:  Gusto ko lang po mag ask regarding the ranking system for regular item of a contractual teacher?????

Hindi po ba pwede magkaroon ng regular item ang isang contractual teacher dahil po wala pa syang masteral units???? Hindi po ba PERFORMANCE ang dapat tignan for regular item????

Hello, pde na man magka item kahit wala pa masteral units... ibang teachers nga in my station contractual status nila for almost 2yrs and then, sa awa ng school head namin, nirekomenda sila for national items... gumawa sila endorsement letter, pina sign nila school head at iba pang stakeholders ng school... so, 'yon... after few months, regular item na sila... tama... performance dapat...

hope this helps... GBU!!!

RE: REGULAR ITEM for CONTRACTUAL TEACHER
In this situation, I think the best thing to do for the applicant teacher who already complied with the pertinent laws, basic requirements and ranking processes before hiring as Public School Teacher and besides, regardless of the teacher's status whether he is Probationary, Local Paid, DepEd-Subsidized or Volunteer is to...

1.]be updated all the time with regards to the hiring status of teachers in the locality,

2.]be participative or cooperative in whatsoever activities in the school as well as in the district,

3.]be open for whatsoever opportunities offered by the school leaders in the local schools district community such as teaching voluntarily in a short period or as substitute teacher,

4.]be humble, approachable, patient, respectful, responsible, alive, alert and enthusiastic in dealing with the school leaders, regular teachers and all the people around in the local schools district community,

5.]be visible and ready all the time in whatsoever activities as required by the schools district community,

6.]be open-minded for whatsoever circumstances regarding the hiring process in the schools division or district most especially, if there are irregularities in the process by not being prejudiced,

and finally,

7.]be open to the school leaders if there are questions, doubts, etc... in the hiring and appointing process of Teacher I position in the local schools division or district by being amiable, polite, respectful and honest.

In most instances of hiring a registered qualified teacher applicant for teacher I position, the RIGHT ATTITUDE or the way the teacher applicant behaves himself will USUALLY COUNT.

Given a situation, the teacher as Rank No. 1 of the RQTA, with M.A. or Ph.D graduate but doesn't possesses the RIGHT ATTITUDE and here comes the teacher as Rank No. 3 who does not have much teaching experience, not even have MA units but possesses the RIGHT ATTITUDE of being an authentic public school teacher, most likely, most of the school district supervisors or In-charges will recommend to the schools division superintendent or In-charge the teacher as Rank No. 3 who possesses the RIGHT ATTITUDE of being an authentic public school teacher.

RE: REGULAR ITEM for CONTRACTUAL TEACHER
Just want to be enlightened, hope you could share your thoughts...

I underwent all the ranking process and now waiting for the result! Mejo matagal ang release ng resulta sa Division namin, dapat nung May 11 pa pero mag-tatapos na ang Mayo wala pa din. Puro pag-papasa lng ng reason and somewhat like delaying tactics ang sinasabi samin pumunta ka man o tumawag sa DO, unfortunately I can’t do anything but to wait in vain...

I decided to visit the Highschool where I submitted my documents and directly talk to the principal. With the thinking na baka may alam na sya sa ranking or any results...

The Highschool that I went to is in dire need of Teachers, lahat ng pupuntang teachers dun tatanggapin kaagad ng Principal without any questions. The principal was so nice, much charisma and very accommodating, at syempre Aplikante ka lang so whatever sabihin sayo ng Principal, “oo” ka lng “oo”...

My CONFUSION and BOGGLED QUESTION MARKS started...
1) He offered me to be a VOLUNTEER Teacher on June 4.
> Nagtanung ako, bakit Volunteer? Panu po yung ranking result (no official results yet)? Sabi ng Principal, hintayin lang daw ang
resulta...
> So Volunteer walang sweldo? WALA DAW! Then I asked him Hanggang kelan magiging Volunteer? Hindi daw nya masabi,
pwedeng 1week, 2weeks, 1mo more or less..... reason why I’m asking is that, kasi sympre may pamilya dn naman akong
binubuhay diba!

2) Habang Nag-VOVOLUNTEER daw he will recommend me para mag-LSB sa Mayor namin
> Base sa Stat ng School na inapplyan ko, sa 50 more or less Teachers nila, less than 10 lang ang NATIONAL ITEM and the rest
are LSB!!! sobrang mailap or kaunti lng ang item na binibigay sa Siyudad namin!
>As per friends who are LSB teachers in that school, almost 5yrs-7yrs na silang LSB, bakit kaya?
= There was this time pa 2010-2011 lahat ng LSB teachers hindi pinayagang mag-pa-rank or hindi tinatanggap ang
requirements for ranking with the same reason na “kawawa naman daw yung school na aalisan mu kasi pag-mabigyan ng
Item usually sa ibang school inaapoint, mapipilayan yung school na aalisan mo” :-(
= There are qualified teachers na pasok sa ranking pero dahil LSB na sila they were not given the Item. Mas nabibigyan pa
ng Item ang newbies/new applicants over LSB’s

With all these sentiments, nag-dalawang isip ako na tanggapin yung LSB but pero dito sa siyudad namin same lang daw ang sweldo ng LSB at National.

I’m really confused kasi sabi nga din ng mga kaibigan ko na may National Item na, baka ma-pako na ko sa LSB (with those reasons stated above) apart from that LSB teachers are receiving less bonuses kasi nga Mayor/Munisipyo ang nag-papa-sweldo, unlike National Item teachers they are getting much like yung extra 10k nung pasko, LSB didn’t get those bonus.

Indeed anu ba ang POSITIVE AND DECISIVE vibes ang dapat kong malaman?

Maganda ba tlga ang LSB or anu?

Can anyone share their thoughts? Pagtyagaan nyo na lang pong basahin!
Thanks!
