@jasmin: Tell PRC that the school will not issue you a 'for board examination purposes' TOR (give the reason why). Ask if 'for whatever legal purpose it may serve' would suffice (most likely not).

I am a BA Communication Arts graduate and is currently taking up my teacher certificate program, does anyone know what subjects or courses the PRC will be crediting?

good daY!!
i already took up 24 units of certficate in teaching Professional education (CTPE)with the degree of BS information management. unfortunately I dont take up 6 units of practice teaching ,currently i am teaching in tesda could they consider this as practice teaching?? para di na me magtake pa ng practice teaching?? Is the PRC allow me to take LET exam??

@gleceryn: The school would have to credit your TESDA teaching as 'practice teaching'. Teaching in regular schools is usually considered PT.

If you already have the TOR ('for board examination purposes'), why not spend a day trying to check with PRC if they will allow you? At least if they would, that would save you semester(s) of study Smile

our dean said that i have to take up practice teaching pa din to be able to take the let exam i dont have TOR yet.Its so far naman pho the PRC here. did u know other options para makapag inquire me sa PRC?

I honestly think that they would not consider your TESDA teaching as practice teaching. But there's no harm asking them if you have the time and chance.

@countess: Sorry, we don't have a link nor a scanned copy of the list of course titles referred to by PRC evaluators. We've been wanting to get of that for two years now, but so far we've been unsuccessful Sad
