Hi everyone...im just new to this forum. I found this site very helpful.

Now, i would just like to ask if anyone has any idea what really is the salary grade for Guidance Counselor? Why i ask? Im actually applying the item given to our school...the problem is my other co-teacher are somewhat 'protesting" as to why me? Why not give it to the teachers who serve longer than me? This was opened by our school head during our meeting the other day...he was asking as to who was interested to the position..informing them that the item though is intended for new teacher with a salary grade 10 (?). No one raise their hands...who would want to step down and get a lower salary when they have enjoyed their steps already. But now, they are saying that its not really salary grade 10 (as what our school head was saying - gitago lang daw para wala magka-interest). I was searching through the DepEd site kanina regarding the Guidelines and real salary grade to "silence" them..or maybe i really got the wrong information.
