Here are some tips if your son/daughter says that he/she is bored with school:

1. Clarify with your son/daughter if it is the school (itself) that he/she is bored with, or if he/she is afraid of his/her teacher, or if he/she is being bullied by his/her classmates. A heart-to-heart talk with your child regarding this matter followed by a conference with the teachers could help you identify the main problem.

2. Boredom in school can be caused by one major reason: the school does not present enough challenge to the student. This could happen when the student is above-average but the teacher could not go faster than the average speed of the class. In this case, help your child involve himself/herself in some activities, either sponsored by the school or outside of the school. This would help him/her use up some of his/her extra time and/or energy, and thus lessen the boredom he/she feels.

Parents should make then convinced for study.They should make them aware from importance of study.Parents should find out the exact reason of getting bore with school. If is there any problem with their teacher or classmate?.The method of teaching in school,environment of school,what kind of children's are coming there for study, which type of friends he/she has etc.All this thing will help you to get better idea & solution.

If Schools is Boring problems to Children he Must concern first if Atmosphere,Teacher, Academe this is one of the problem if not than is he is getting the Games and much comforts to him and at last if student co league are not the issue this all are question that can haunt the children and at lat Main thing is he/she is getting known with the languages he/she is studying

My son does this a lot and I have learned through a web site that it is important to communicate about the child to understand clearly why he feels that way. These questions could clarify things for you before you talk to the teacher:

1. What would make school (or subject) more interesting?
2. If you could change something at school (or subject) what would it be?
3. When are you excited about school (or subject)?

My initial thought was the subjects weren't challenging but I was surprised by my son's answers.

1. If I didn't have to write all these sentences (He always hated writing exercises).
2. If I had more time during Language Arts so I can finish what I have to write (he tends to paraphrase the sentence so he could catch up with the rest of the class).
3. During field trips.

This conversation has given me more insights about my son's thoughts about school than anything else. hope this could help you and your children find out what makes them bored at school.

Everyone feel bored with the same style of study and activity. Sometime child want rest from their study. We do many thing when our child is bored with school.

4. Play playing cards with him

Gee... kinds nowadays!

Back during my time, if you study, you are responsible, hard working and your parents will be proud of you. If you don't want to study, your parents will just think your dumb and lazy.

Now they invented all those "long cuts" like developmental lessons and other gimmicks supposedly to "capture" the interest of students.

^Kids nowadays I mean

From time to time, kids will say that they’re bored of school. There’s some research that indicates that when some kids are bored, they’re actually mildly angry. And so, I think that kids do get angry with school, it is boring sometimes. They also don’t like the responsibility of all the assignments. As they get older, these assignments don’t appear to prepare them for the adult world and they resent it, and they resent having to do them.

But parents have to be able to tell their kids that it’s their responsibility to go to school. You need to be able to say, “You have to go to school even when you’re bored. That’s your responsibility. It’s not about the mood, it’s your responsibility. If you want it to be less boring, find some more interesting things to do there to balance it out.”

Sports might be the thing that helps your child find his comfort zone at school; for another child, it might be drama. Whatever it is, let your child know that this is a problem that’s possible for them to solve.,.copied,..

There is no quick fix for this. Parents should daily to to their child about what happens in school. When parents show interest, the child will also show interest in school.

When you know what happens in their school you can suggest some activities that he can do with his classmate. Like help tutor those who need help, talk to girls in a certain way.

I think video games are ok. I always tell my children that they should balance their time. Too much video games are not ok. But some are ok because it will stimulate their imagination.
