Dear Fellow Teachers,

I am a Licensed Teacher but currently working in a call center. While I am not yet practicing my profession, I want to update myself with the latest trends in Education like attending seminars, workshops, fora, and the like. Are there any activities that welcomes teachers who are not yet teaching? If so, what site can I check for up-to-date announcements?

This May we will have a get-together with Dr. Joy Locaylocay of the University of San Carlos. She will talk about Understanding by Design. We will issue a press release soon when the venue and the schedule are finalized.

Usually CSMTA holds the monthly get-together on the 3rd Saturday of the month, from 6-8 PM. BTW, Dr. Locaylocay is slated for June, not May as I've stated in my earlier post.

We are not yet sure what will be our activity for June... Probably we will not have any as the key people are quite busy with the start of the school year.
