@JM: It may surprise you that it was only in 2007, in the addendum to CMO 30, that CHED finally realized that there is a need to have qualified faculty members for teacher training institutions.

What the...!

No wonder our country is still the same! Grrr!

@raj: I think PNU slots are limited. I'm based here in Cebu, and CNU here is also a good source of good information regarding the test. BTW, a good way to see if a review center could provide you a lot of insider info on the test is to check the people associated with the review center - if they are from normal schools like PNU and CNU, most probably some of them have actually sat on the Board of Teacher Examiners (or whatever they call that body which prepares the test). Here's what I know: they have a corpus of test questions from where they take the actual test questions. Now, if your reviewer prepared x number of those questions, then you have some chance of knowing questions thay may appear in the test.

ok, so the numbers worked and i learned that there are still slots for the sept09 LET review at PNU but i won't be going there.. it's not feasible so i opted for CNU instead for proximity reasons.. 2nd top performing school in their 300 and 500 up category is the best second option. where did you guys review?

for those interested at PNU though, the review is from april 27-july5, sundays only.. 4800 including the review materials that were changed subject to the new curriculum. bring (2) 1x1 id photos. hope this would help

@JM: We need education, not an armed revolution.

@rajregalado: I opened a thread about LET review at PNU using the information that you've provided. Thank you very much. I went to a small review center, but I don't think that it helped me much.

Hi Islesv, did you happen to get hold of the memo from PRC stating that the Sept 2009 LET takers would be affected? Please share it to us because I just can't believe that I need more 12 units on top of my 18 educ units because when I ask UPOU about this, they said they do not have official memo regarding this yet. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Carol
