I'd like to know how much capital it would cost to put up a college that is aimed primarily at teaching students how to write well in English.

Also, I'd like to know what steps need to be taken and what permits need to be applied for.

If you are planning to start a full-pledged college, you're looking at an investment of 2 to 5 million pesos.

I think the best approach would be to start with a tutorial center.

Assuming they have the capital, what are the steps to setting up a college?

What permits? incorporation?

I'm not sure about the exact steps, but you have to incorporate the corporation with SEC and also apply for permits with CHED.

It is depend on you that which type of college you want to set up means what facilities you are going to provide to your students or college.You should also decide the infrastructure of your college.

would they like to consider offering pre-school & elementary level first? rather than starting it with the college level? if you are really decided to put up a college, pls make your self familiar with the Manual of Regulations for Private Schools by Atty. Ulan Ulpiano, CHED Merndum Orders (can be seen in CHED Website), & study carefully what field of specialization are you going to offer.. Liberal Arts has less investments than nursing/hrm... CHED has also statistics which field has the most number of enrollees... come up with organizational structure, employee's manual, student's manual, marketing plan... and dont forget to cooordinate with BIR, SSS, Pag-ibig, philhealth.. haiz... good luck po... The Manual of Regulations as annotations by Atty. Ulpiano are a bit outdated though. Every day DepEd, CHED and TESDA issue new regulations.

There are been many thing taken into the consideration when comes to see the thing for getting the private college to get organized.So its been the thing like the finance,passing the documents,getting into consideration and many things that haunts the committees member been in the organization for creating the college.

There are many types of collages but you have to decide about your collage. You have to decide which types of facilities you provide to your students and collage. You have also think about the infrastructure of the collage.

As per my information, Cambridge University will charge £3290 a year in 2010-11 for tuition fees. From September 2006, eligible undergraduate students do not have to pay fees before they start University or whilst they are studying. Instead, you will apply for a Student Loan for Fees to cover the cost.
