Teachers are invited to a talk on "International Teaching: Building Bridges Between Cultures" this August 15, 2009 (Saturday), 6 P.M. to 8 P.M., at the University of San Carlos Science and Mathematics Education Department (SMED), USC-TC, Talamban, Cebu City. The speaker will be Dr. Marilou Gallos, former dean of the College of Education, University of San Carlos. This is a good opportunity for those who would like to know what it is like to teach in the United States.

There will be a minimal fee of PHP 20.00 for incidental expenses.

wow this is definitely one exciting conference. Dr. Marilou Gallos was my observer and critic last year during a one week class observation for all teachers in our school. She's really helpful in improving my teaching strategies....
