all about ma sped
hello everyone...i am a fresh graduate of BEEd (generalist)...i want to take up my masters in sped...would it be ok if i'll get it without any units regarding sped? Blush thanks!

It would really depend on the school, but what I know is that you can. I have a classmate in my masters now (math major) who used to take up SpEd... she did not even graduate with a BS Ed or BEEd Smile

I have colleagues with undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemistry, who took up MA in SPED. I think they were just required to take up courses in education, not necessarily in SPED, in addition to the graduate courses in SPED. They are now teaching in the US. In your case, since you are a BEED graduate, you could probably be admitted directly into the program without taking undergrad prereqs. I think there is such program at the College of Education in UP Diliman, and at the Philippine Normal University.
