Tumawag ako kanina sa DO namin. Eh ang sabi Naka-rank na daw yung Rank 1 sa amin, pero naka ROV pa. Eh rank 2 ako. Can anyone here explain to me what does ROV mean? Di ko na tinanong sa DO kasi maxadong matipid yung sagot. Busy yata. Thank you

I totally missed this question. ROV must refer to the Registry of Volunteers. This is an additional list of the Registry of Qualified Applicants (RQA). Those listed in the ROV must be hired first, per RA 10155 as implemented by DepEd through DepEd Order No. 37, s. 2012.

In the hiring of new teachers, priority shall be given to qualified contractual and volunteer teachers, whether employed by DepEd or the LGUs.

andami ko pang di alam sa kung anu ang nangyayari sa hiring process. buti na lang malaking tulong ang site na to. maraming salamat talaga at naliliwanagan kami.

Update:

ROV - Request on Vacancy. Sa pagkaka-alam ko bago ka magawan nang ROV, you have to submit first your pertinent documents if your status is for DEPED item na. From there, the DepEd will prepare the ROV for your item. Once it's ready with all its signatories, next process would be the deliberation of appointments.

I was apponted as LSB teacher pero nag pa rank din ako.

Priority parin po ba ang volunteer teacher ngayun? Di pa po ako nakaparank pero volunteer na po ako ngayun.
