A Short Guide to Forum Etiquette
This may be the first time for some of you to be part of a forum, so, basically, I thought I'd do a little guide book on forum etiquette (based on what I've learned from being in other forums, etc.) Feel free to correct me, add information, or whatever. So, in no particular order I shall begin.

Double Posting

Double Posting, or duplicate posting, basically happens when you post succeeding messages. Basically, if you post a message after your own message.

For example:
username:somethingsomethingsomething
doubleposter:reply
doubleposter:another post right after your own post=double post!

If you wish to add something to the previous post, use the edit button. If the double post is an accident, you can edit it to say something like: "Double Post. Sorry." But since this forum apparently allows you to delete messages, you could do that too.

Derailing

Basically, stay on topic.

SHOUTING!!!!

Preferably, don't write in all caps or use more than one exclamation point.

Bumping

Bumping a topic means posting in a dead topic, or posting in your own topic just to get it on top of the list again. Dead topics basically, are inactive topics. Bumping topics should be avoided.

Quoting

So quoting is only really needed for when you're replying to a certain sentence, or to someone else a few posts back and you want to make it clear about what and to whom you are talking to. Aside from a few other exceptions, quoting isn't really necessary. Excessive quoting and quoting long blocks of text should normally be avoided.

THIS IS WHAT A QUOTE LOOKS LIKE:

Kokseng_3y Wrote:Family Guy, Lost, Southpark, How I Met Your Mother, Simpsons, Heroes, Chuck, etc.

That's it for now. I got lazy. Will edit soon, hopefully. Once again, feel free to make suggestions/discuss/ask questions/whatever.
