Theme: "Nutrition and Wellness Towards a Health Lifestyle"

Aims of the convention:
a. appreciate the significance of proper nutrition in the prevention of chronic diseases;
b. recognize the crucial role played by the nutritionist-dietitians in the promotion of optimal nutrition;
c. be cognizant of the impact of physical activity in the overall wellness of an individual; and
d. discern the utility of other health care approaches in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

The theme will highlight the report on the 7th National Nutrition Surveys.
