The National Music Competitions for Young Artists (NAMCYA) Foundation, Inc. in cooperation with DepEd, NCCA, CCP, and PAL will hold the National Music Competitions for Young Artists on November 10-15, 2009 at the CCP, Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

Theme: "Paglikha ng Kalikasan ng Diwat' Mundo sa Musika't Sining" ("Creating an Environment of the Spirit and the World through Music and the Arts")

The competitions will be held in three phases.

Phase I will be the regional competition. Deadline is July 2009. Submission of an acceptable video format (VHS, VCD or DVD) of audition in the following instruments: Brasses C, Choir C, Dance (Junior Ballet), Guitar C, Piano A-2, Rondalla C, Traditional Philippine Ensembles A, Voice B.

Phase II, conducted from August to September, will be regional center competitions.

Phase III will be the national competitions.
